SHARE Police: Man robs northwest Indiana bank

A man robbed a northwest Indiana bank branch Wednesday afternoon.

He robbed BMO Harris Bank branch at 915 Ridge Rd. in Munster at 12:39 p.m., a statement from Munster police said.

The robber gave the teller a note demanding cash, then took an unknown amount of cash and ran away, police said. He did not show a weapon, but the note implied he had one.

The robber is described as a black man in his 20s or 30s, between 6-foot-3 and 6-foot-6, wearing a Bulls baseball hat, light gray jacket, dark pants and sunglasses, police said.
