No injuries were reported in a house fire late Thursday in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

Firefighters responded to the fire that originated at 7220 S. Carpenter about 11 p.m., according to Fire Media Affairs. The fire had spread to the residence next door at 7218 S. Carpenter.

The fire was struck out about 11:20 p.m., and no one was injured, fire media said. Red Cross was on the scene for any displacements.
