A 13-year-old girl was sexually abused Thursday morning while walking down the street in the McKinley Park neighborhood on the South Side.

About 7:50 a.m., the girl was walking northbound in the 3600 block of South Paulina when man walked up behind her, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The man “made inappropriate physical contact” with the girl, then walked away southbound on Paulina, police said.

He is described as a 170-pound Hispanic man, between 35 and 40 years old, standing between 5-feet-7 and 5-feet-9 with short, spiky black hair with a lot of gel, a dark complexion and a round, chubby face with acne scars, police said. The man was wearing black sunglasses, a green scarf, a light brown or khaki knee-length coat and dark shiny dress shoes.
