A 22-year-old man was fatally shot during a drug deal Wednesday night near southwest suburban Lockport.

Deputies responded to shots fired in the 200 block of Barry Avenue in unincorporated Lockport Township at 11:10 p.m. and found a man unresponsive in a front yard, according to a statement from the Will County sheriff’s office.

Dylan Somma, 22, was taken to Silver Cross Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to the statement.
