The White Sox agreed to terms on one-year contracts with outfielder Avisail Garcia ($2.1 million) and right-hander Zach Putnam ($975,000) Friday, avoiding arbitration. The Sox came to terms with their other two arbitration-eligibles, infielder Brett Lawrie ($4.1 million) and left-hander Dan Jennings ($810,000), on Thursday.

Garcia, 24, batted .257 with 13 homers, 17 doubles, and 59 RBI during his first full season in 2015.

Putnam, 28, went 3-3 with a 4.07 ERA and 64 strikeouts over 48 2/3 innings last season, his second with the Sox. He allowed just 19.0 percent of inherited baserunners to score.
