An 18-year-old man was shot and killed Wednesday morning in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

Antonio Pollards was walking westbound in the 4600 block of West Madison about 9:30 a.m. when someone opened fire from a passing vehicle, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Pollards suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died at 10:05 a.m., authorities said. He lived in the 1400 block of South Drake.
