A 66-year-old woman was shot Saturday in the Uptown neighborhood on the North Side.

The woman was shot in the lower leg at 3:02 p.m. while walking in the 1000 block of West Wilson Avenue, police said.

She was transported to Weiss Memorial Hospital in good condition, police said.
