Police are warning about two armed robberies in as many days in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on the North Side.

In each incident, two or three people approached a person on the street, showed a silver handgun, and demanded property, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The robberies happened:

  • about 9 p.m. Jan. 13 in the 2200 block of North Burling, and
  • about 12:30 p.m. Jan. 15 in the 1100 block of West Dickens.

The suspects are described as two or three black men between 18-24 years old, standing between 5-feet-5 and 6-feet, and weighing between 130-180 pounds, police said. In one robbery, the suspects were wearing black masks.
