A man was shot early Sunday in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 18-year-old was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 3400 block of West Fulton about 5:10 a.m. when a white SUV drove by and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg and drove himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
