Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 1 for this summer’s Rock Paper Scissors Tour featuring Sting and Peter Gabriel, which includes a July 9 stop at the United Center, 1920 W. Madison. Tickets will be available at livenation.com.

Fan club pre-sales for the tour begin Jan. 26 at Sting and Gabriel’s respective websites. American Express cardholders can purchase tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Jan. 27 at livenation.com for the Chicago show.

The tour reunites the two music icons, who first toured together in the 1980s; they’ll be performing together and in separate sets on this outing. Combined, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees boast more than 20 Grammys, as solo artists and as frontment for their equally iconic bands, Genesis and the Police.

Sting’s most recent CD, “The Last Ship,” was released in 2013, and was based on the Broadway musical of the same name, which he wrote and which had its world premiere in Chicago in 2014.

The 20-city, North American leg of the Rock Paper Scissors world tour kicks off June 21 in Columbus, Ohio.
