A man was shot Tuesday night in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 34-year-old man was shot in the groin and arm at 8:59 p.m. in the 6800 block of South Halsted Street, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
