A gas station in west suburban Oak Lawn sold a $700,000 winning lottery ticket for a New Year’s Eve Lucky Day Lotto drawing.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought Thursday at the Citgo at 6801 W. 87th St. in Oak Lawn, and matched all five numbers — 01, 05, 20, 24, 39 — according to a statement from the Illinois Lottery.

The gas station will receive a $7,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The winner should immediately sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until visiting a prize center.
