A man was injured in a Brighton Park neighborhood shooting early Sunday on the Southwest Side.

The 44-year-old was walking in the 3800 block of South Albany about 3 a.m. when a light-colored SUV pulled up and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
