Police are warning residents of garage burglaries in the last three weeks in the Dunning neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The burglaries occurred:

  • between 9 p.m. and 10 a.m. Jan. 2-3 in the 3800 block of North Newcastle Avenue;
  • between 12:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Jan. 4 in the 3800 block of North New England Avenue;
  • between 6 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Jan. 16 in the 3400 block of North Natchez Avenue;
  • between 7 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 3800 block of North Sayre Avenue; and
  • between 12:01 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 3800 block of North Sayre Avenue.

The suspect or suspects entered the garages through unlocked doors or by forcibly opening side doors, police said.
