A 15-year-old boy has been charged with robbing three people at gunpoint Sunday night on the Near West Side.

The teen, whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, faces three felony counts of armed robbery with a firearm, according to Chicago Police.

A 35-year-old woman, 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy were walking in the 100 block of South Western about 9 p.m. when the teenager walked up, pulled a handgun and announced a robbery, police said. He took their belongings and ran away.

The teen, who lives in the 2000 block of West Washington, was identified as the suspect and arrested.
