A bank was robbed Tuesday morning in northwest suburban Arlington Heights.

A male robbed the TCF Bank branch at 1860 S. Arlington Heights Road at 11:27 a.m., according to the FBI. He did not display a weapon, and the incident was described as a “non-takeover bank robbery.”

The suspect is described as a 6-foot to 6-foot-2 black male with a slender-to-medium build, the FBI said. He was wearing a black cap with ear flaps, a black coat and dark jeans.
