Man shot in leg in Englewood

A 30-year-old man was shot in the leg late Thursday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened about 4:15 p.m. in the 6100 block of South Carpenter, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, police said.

The circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately known.
