Two men were wounded in an Auburn Gresham neighborhood shooting Friday afternoon on the South Side.

The men, ages 33 and 39, were sitting in a car parked in the 1800 block of West 87th Street about 2 p.m. when someone walked up and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The younger man was shot in the arm and chest and the older in the leg, police said.

They were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where the 33-year-old was listed in serious condition. The other man’s condition stabilized, police said.
