Man shot in arm in Washington Park

A man was shot early Friday afternoon in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 27-year-old was shot in the arm at 12:05 p.m. in the 5000 block of South State, according to Chicago Police. He was riding in a car when a black vehicle pulled up and fired shots.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
