Man shot in foot in Austin

A man was shot Saturday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 39-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 5500 block of West Harrison Street at 1:33 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the left foot and was taken to Mount Sinai in good condition, police said.
