SHARE Police warn of garage burglaries in Brighton Park

Chicago Police issued an alert Sunday warning of three recent garage burglaries in the Southwest Side Brighton Park neighborhood.

At least one suspect breaks into garages and steals property, according to the community alert from Area Central detectives.

The burglaries happened:

  • about 2 a.m. on Jan. 11 in the 4500 block of South Talman;
  • about 4 p.m. on Jan. 19 in the 4500 block of South California;
  • and about 10 p.m. on Jan. 19 in the 4400 block of South Rockwell.

Residents are advised to keep their garages well-lit, report suspicious activity immediately and keep doors and windows secured.
