A 68-year-old woman who was reported missing from the Avondale neighborhood on the Northwest Side has been found safe.

Marta Pineda, who suffers from moderate Alzheimer’s, was last seen at 2 p.m. Saturday in the area of Mozart and Diversey Avenues, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police.

Police said Sunday afternoon that she had been located, but did not provide additional details.
