A man was wounded in an Englewood neighborhood drive-by shooting Monday night.

The 40-year-old was in a parked vehicle in the 5700 block of South Emerald about 9:30 p.m. when another vehicle pulled alongside and someone inside shot him, police said.

He was shot in the left leg and the bullet eventually struck him in the right leg as well, police said.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
