55-year-old missing Chicago Lawn man found safe

A 55-year-old man who was reported missing nearly two weeks ago from the South Side Chicago Lawn neighborhood has been found safe.

Levern Canteen was last seen Jan. 13 in the 5900 block of South Maplewood Avenue, according to a missing person alert from police.

Police said Monday afternoon that Canteen had been located safe.
