A man was shot Monday afternoon in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened in the 10600 block of South Cottage Grove at 2:41 p.m., according to Chicago Police.

The 22-year-old man was shot in the foot and took himself to Roseland Hospital, police said.
