Man shot in leg in Back of the Yards

A man was shot in the leg Monday morning in the South Side Back of the Yards neighborhood.

The 36-year-old man was standing on a corner in the 900 block of West 50^th Street at 11:42 a.m. when a black SUV drove by and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
