A man robbed a northwest suburban bank in DeKalb County more than a week ago.
The man robbed Heartland Bank and Trust Company, 327 W. Main St. in Genoa, at 10:22 a.m. Jan. 15, according to the DeKalb County Crime Stoppers. The robber demanded cash from the teller and displayed a gun, police said.
He is described as a white man between 45 and 60 years old and stocky build, with blonde and gray hair, trimmed beard and a mark or age spot on the right side of his face, police said.
It is possible that the man left in a newer model black Dodge pickup truck, police said.
The Rockford FBI is investigating the robbery.
