Shift in leadership at Lookingglass Theatre

Lookingglass Theatre Company has elected veteran ensemble member Heidi Stillman as its next artistic director. She will replace the theater’s current artistic director, Andrew White, who has had the job since 2010, and will now serve as the company’s first Connectivity and Engagement Director.

Lookingglass holds elections every three years as a way of cementing the company’s spirit of ensemble and collaboration, with changes effective immediately.

Stillman, who served as co-artistic director with David Kersnar from 1997 to 2000, has written and directed such Lookingglass shows as “Cascabel,” “The North China Lover” and “Hephaestus.”
