Bond was set at $750,000 Thursday for Brian E. Tiedemann, who faces five counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and 11 of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against victims younger than 13, sheriff’s police said.

He was arrested Friday after a report of a juvenile assaulted in unincorporated Wonder Lake, and later implicated in a separate assault investigation in Crystal Lake, according to police, who did not release more details on the alleged attacks.

Tiedemann, a Wonder Lake resident, is due back in court Feb. 17.

Detectives are still investigating and more charges could be handed down. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (815) 334-4570.
