Chicago Police are warning of several armed robberies of Southwest Side cellphone stores in December.

Two males enter a store, pull out a handgun and demand cellphones and money from the register, according to a community alert from Area Central detectives.

The robberies happened:

  • at 4:40 p.m. on Dec. 15 in the 6600 block of South Cicero;
  • at 10:42 a.m. on Dec. 24 in the 6900 block of South Pulaski;
  • at 1:57 p.m. on Dec. 26 in the 8200 block of South Kedzie;
  • and at 7:35 p.m. on Dec. 29 in the 5100 block of South Cicero.

The suspects are described as two black males between 16 and 23 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot, and 140 to 175 pounds.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call detectives at (312) 747-8382.
