An 18-year-old man was shot in a North Lawndale drive-by attack early Sunday on the Southwest Side.

He was standing on the street about 12:40 a.m. in the 2200 block of South Kolin when someone in a passing SUV opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the right arm and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.

A police source said he has documented gang ties.
