SHARE 87-year-old man reported missing from Washington Park

Police are searching for an 87-year-old man who has been missing from the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side since Saturday.

Preston Hancock was last seen Saturday near the 5400 block of South Calumet Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

He is described as a bald black man with a medium complexion and brown eyes, standing 5-feet-11 and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with “Nike” written in white and a red swoosh on the front, blue jeans and black shoes, police said.

Police said he may be “mentally confused” and in need of medical attention.
