A 25-year-old man was shot Sunday night in the North Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The man was driving north about 8:30 p.m. in the 1500 bock of North Menard when someone in another vehicle fired shots, striking him in the buttocks, according to Chicago Police. He then drove himself to a nearby police station.

From there he was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
