A man was shot in the knee Monday afternoon in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The 24-year-old was walking in the 5400 block of West Harrison about 1:30 p.m. when he “heard shots and felt pain,” according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left knee and driven to Loretto Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
