Man shot in Hermosa

A man was shot Monday in the Hermosa neighborhood on the North Side.

The 28-year-old man was shot at 12:03 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Palmer Street, police said. He was driving down the street when two people started shooting, hitting him in the left thigh.

He took himself to Presence St. Mary’s Hospital, but his condition was unknown, police said.
