A man was critically wounded in a drive-by shooting Wednesday afternoon in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The 35-year-old man was walking in the 4500 block of West Wilcox at 12:19 p.m. when a silver Chevrolet Impala drove by and someone inside started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot twice in the right side and once in chest and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
