A man was killed in a Brighton Park neighborhood shooting Tuesday night on the Southwest Side.

Jonathan Jimenez, 25, was getting out of a vehicle in the 4600 block of South Talman about 8:20 p.m. when someone in another passing vehicle shot him in the abdomen, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Jimenez, of the 1900 block of West Cullerton, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:57 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
