To say Cubs fans were excited about the team’s signing of outfielder Jason Heyward would be more than a little understatement. But one fan took the whole thing to a new level.

Late last week, YouTube user Danny Rockett posted “Heyward” a parody of the Beatles’ classic song “Hey Jude.” It’s a song that Cubs fans hope to enjoy for years to come.

The YouTube video wasn’t the only music inspired fan creation to celebrate the Heyward signing. Reddit user zmangroup posted a photoshopped version of the Kansas album “Leftoverture” aptly named “Lefty’overture” with the hit song “Carry On My Heyward Son.”
