Four shot in East Garfield Park

Four men were shot Thursday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened about 1 p.m. in the 2700 block of West Lexington, according to Chicago Police.

A 19-year-old was shot in the face, a 21-year-old was shot in the right thigh and an 18-year-old was also shot in the thigh, police said. All three were taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.

A fourth man, 31, was shot in the buttocks and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

The shooting is thought to be gang-related, police said.
