Man, 40, shot in Lawndale

A man was shot in the Lawndale neighborhood Saturday afternoon on the West Side.

The 40-year-old was outside at 3:39 p.m. in the 700 block of South Kenneth when he heard gunfire and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right arm and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
