A man drove to a South Side hospital after being shot in the head Tuesday evening in the Kenwood neighborhood.

The 29-year-old showed up at the University of Chicago Medical Center about 7:30 p.m. and told investigators he heard gunshots while driving in the 4600 block of South Greenwood, according to Chicago Police.

His condition was stabilized, police said. The shooting was thought to be gang-related.
