Several garage burglaries and thefts from vehicles have been reported to police since Sept. 13 on the Far South Side.

In the incidents, the vehicles were parked in a garage and entered by breaking out the vehicle’s window to steal property, according to a community alert from Chicago Police. The incidents were reported at a variety of times, but most occurred between the late night and early morning hours.
