A string of robberies of dry cleaners and laundromats have been reported in the Chicago Lawn community on the Southwest side this month.

In the robberies, up to three men between 18 and 21 years old showed or implied they had a gun and demanded money from the register, Chicago Police said.

The robberies were reported:

• About 3:35 a.m. Oct. 17 in the 6600 block of South Kedzie Avenue;

• at 2:59 a.m. Oct. 19 in the 3300 block of West 63rd Street;

• about 2:35 a.m Wednesday in the 3300 block of West 63rd Street;

• about 6:05 p.m. Thursday in the 3200 block of West Marquette Road, police said.
