A caretaker is accused of stealing jewelry from a Northbrook home over several months starting late last year.

Zeinab N. Awoseyila, 34, worked as a caretaker at a home in the 0-100 block of the Court of Harbinger Falls in Northbrook, according to Northbrook police, who said the homeowners discovered multiple items of jewelry missing between December 2015 and September 2016.

Detectives eventually identified Awoseyila as the suspect, and she turned herself in at the Northbrook police station on Oct. 20, police said, and was charged with residential burglary.
