A man was shot Friday night in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

At 11:25 p.m., the 29-year-old man was standing on the street in the 3800 block of South Kedzie when someone in a silver car fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was hit in the right leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Another man was shot in the same neighborhood about an hour earlier.
