An 18-year-old man was shot Saturday evening in the University Village on the Near West Side.

He was shot in the arm and suffered a graze wound to the head at 5:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of West 14th, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said. Additional details were not immediately available Saturday night.
