A man was shot to death in Uptown Monday evening on the North Side, police said.

The 24-year-old was outside about 7 p.m. in the 4600 block of North Kenmore when an SUV pulled up to him and someone inside shot him in the side, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he died, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office did not immediately have information on the death.
