Man shot in West Englewood

A man was shot Sunday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

At 9:16 p.m., the 40-year-old was in the basement of a home in the 6200 block of South Honore when he heard gunshots and felt pain, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left leg, police said. His condition had stabilized.
