Man shot in Pilsen

A man was shot early Thursday in the Pilsen neighborhood.

The 20-year-old was walking in the 1900 block of South Racine about 2:38 a.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the foot and was taken to University of Illinois Hospital in good condition, police said. The shooting may have been self-inflicted.
