A man was critically injured when he was hit by a CTA Blue Line train early Thursday in the Wicker Park neighborhood.

The 38-year-old was hit by a train at 2:21 a.m. at the Division station at 1200 N. Milwaukee, according to Chicago Police. The incident may have been a suicide attempt.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Blue Line service was suspended between Damen and Grand, but trains had resumed normal service by 4 a.m., according to the CTA.
